Gelato lovers,

Originally from Long Island, NY, the journey began in the food service industry. Early experiences scooping Italian ice sparked a passion for customer satisfaction. After several years, an opportunity to become a franchisee emerged, but a desire for new experiences led to a move to Colorado. There, a successful five-year career as a Union Iron Worker came to an abrupt end due to a car accident injury, resulting in nearly two years of recovery. Returning home with a sense of uncertainty, a return to the food industry became a natural next step. Although the initial plan to build a future with a local Italian ice business didn’t materialize, a connection with a family-owned deli in Elmhurst, IL (Rosalia’s Deli) led to the acquisition of a batch freezer and the start of an artisanal gelato venture. Today, the focus is on creating small-batch, handcrafted gelato, driven by the satisfaction of bringing joy to customers one scoop at a time.
